Attract Cardinals to Bird Feeder The included Cardinal Ring System makes this feeder suitable for Cardinals!
The included Cardinal Ring, an optional, posi-grip ring, is included with the Squirrel Buster Plus. Attaching this ring will allow Cardinals to comfortably feed at the Squirrel Buster Plus. Cardinals prefer a thick, textured perch that is far from the feeder. Because it is difficult for them to turn their short necks to feed, Cardinals also prefer to face their food source. The Cardinal Ring allows Cardinals to face the seed on a secure, comfortable perch. The Squirrel Buster Plus is one of the few tube bird feeders that attracts Cardinals!
Installing the Cardinal Ring is easy. Snap the two halves of the ring together. Then, unlock the perches by unscrewing the wing nut on the bottom of the feeder. Place the feeder in the middle of the cardinal ring, and turn the perches until they line up with the Cardinal Ring's clasps. Attach the perches using the Cardinal Ring's clasps. Make sure to retighten the wing nut at the bottom of the feeder when you are done!
